One additional thought:

Someone is going to post how easy it is to clean the Rochester throttle body on the Rochester B, and find the stamped identification number; and once in a blue moon, this is true.

I currently have about 75 Rochester B's, and maybe 4 of them have the stamped number; THE REST DO NOT!

It doesn't hurt to look, one might get lucky.
