Thank you for the article on the rear axle ring & pinion swap to gain more top end speed. I've consulted the Engine Shop experts on my current engine and came to find out I'm running a 235 out of a 49 4000 series truck ... so not the original engine. I'm interested in your switch to a 261 and to understand what changes you had to make to convert to this engine?
