| | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,904 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,904 | I used a 6 gal. outboard motor gas can while I was cleaning, drying and sealing my truck's gas tank. I placed the gas can in the bed and ran some fuel line behind the cab to the fuel pump. After a few pumps on the priming bulb, it started and ran just fine for months. It did not siphon after shutting off the engine. I did wonder about the rubber fuel line under the cab. You could put in a piece of metal fuel line in its place.
