I bought a small blaster from Grizzly Industrial. It looks kinda like a paint gun, has various rubber tips and a bag to collect the grit and dust. Actually works pretty well, but I think you'd run out of air pretty quick with a 5 gal compressor. The instructions recommend a compressor that will provide 11 CFM at 100 psi. Your 5 gal rig won't do that for more than a few seconds. I have a 5 HP 60 gal in my shop.
[on edit] The HF blast gun instructions say it consumes 7 CFM at 90 psi. Still too much for your 5 gal compressor.
