| | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 153 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 153 | I have a Edlebrock preformer 1406 (600cfm electric choke) on a new 350 crate engine. When the engine is run and then shut off, restarting is a pain. It seem as if the carb floods. The fuel pressure is ok so I'm assuming its either a stuck needle or float thats not set properly. I figure I'd check with ya'll before i change anything. Is it possible that the stock jets and metering rods need to be changed? the main jet is .098 and metering rod is 075 x 047.
