One more quick comment on the Holley/Webbers. Even though they're two barrel carbs, they have a primary and a secondary. So off of idle, you only have one barrel, which helps with improving torque, and then at speed, you get the other barrel, which helps with power and rpm. I have experienced that the Holley/Webber is an improvement over the Rochester 1 bbl over the entire rpm range. It is a worthwhile, and very inexpensive upgrade.
If you do get it, you'll also need his adapter, and his linkage kit. So buy the whole shebang. It's inexpensive, as I've said.
He also carries the Carter/Webber, but it's a slightly smaller carb. Maybe a better choice if you want to run twin carbs on a 235.
