The term "Stovebolt Engine" is slang terminology, (likely derogatory in nature), so a wide berth can be expected as to what truly constitutes a stovebolt engine.
To me, a stovebolt fastener is flat on top and takes a flat blade screwdriver.
What was the last Chevrolet engine which actually had stovebolts on them?
