For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 481 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 481 | We had to have the fan motor replaced in our 1958 Apache so we could heat up the cab on chilly drives. I purchased a new motor from one of the on-line suppliers and had the old motor swapped out with the new motor.
The fan has three speeds (low, medium and high) plus OFF. I noticed that when I turn the switch on it is in the high setting and turning it clockwise makes the fan go to the low setting. Should the speed not be on low when it is first turned on and then to high as the knob is turned clockwise? The way it operates seems backwards.
Just asking.
Thanks,
John | | |
