I'd suggest using a tool post grinder and reducing the diameter of the rocker shaft a little, and using the same chucking reamer and bushing on the rocker stands as you use on the rockers.
A Federal-Mogul #1394 piston pin bushing fits a 0.875" hole and has a suggested inside diameter of 0.7508". It's 1" long. Use a 7/8" chucking reamer to enlarge the holes in the rockers, and the rocker stands, press the bushings in, and grind the shafts to fit the bushings. That bushing is supposed to fit a bunch of Wisconsin engines from 46 to 94 cubic inches. They're on Ebay for $14.11 each, with free shipping. A little careful shopping could probably locate them for less.

Here's a better deal- - - - -7/8" OD by 3/4" ID oilite bronze bushings for $4.20 each. Press them in, and ream the bushing to a few thousandths under shaft size, then grind the shafts to fit. An ID of 49/64" (0.766") or 25/32" (0.781") would work, depending on how much shaft wear you need to correct. Press a short piece of bushing in from each side, and leave the oil groove and spit hole clear.
