Fidlynco Wrench Fetcher F Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 14 Colorado	The sm420 will work if you use the correct bell housing with the 265, big issue is if it's a early 265 that didn't have the 3 bolt mounts on the sides of block. Goes with out saying ur going to fab or use a kit mount that bolts to front of block
