As far as your door locks, you have a couple options. You can do what you mentioned above, or you can take your current drivers lock out only since this should be the one with the key hole. Take it to a locksmith and they should be able to cut you a new key with no problem and ask for a spare key. You can actually lock the passenger door without a key, (only from the inside). Just reach across and pull the door handle up and it locks the door. Then when you get the key to fit your driver's door, close and lock it with the key, then your truck is locked up.
