I called and left a message with him to call me.I did call a general motors dealership and talked to the people in service. They told me atf is what i should use in it.I have a co-worker that has owned s10 trucks.He said every t-5 that he has ever changed the fluid in,had atf in it.I have been told that there are a few critical areas in the t-5 that the thicker gear lube will not reach.I am going with the ATF fluid.
