With the Gibbs oil I wouldn't drive it down a gravel road or in the rain, or I would just have to do it all over. For just normal dust sitting out, or a light rain I can just do a quick wipe down with an oil soaked towel. I keep a big cover over it most of the time, or stored, but I haven't had to wash it in 2 years, which is not easy on this beast. I wipe down everything I can with Gibbs, including the wheels, and under the hood. It does a good job of protecting exposed metal, and coating light rust too.
