I can't hear it from under the hood, but the instructions mention noise as a reason not to put it under the dash. I suppose noise is relative - old truck vs. Cadillac.
Different? I should have done it sooner.
Only "complaint" is a trifle - the speed drops ~3 mph when you first engage it before it takes over, e.g., set it at 60 and your speed drops to 57 before it kicks in and brings you back to 60. Once engaged, it holds the speed fine.
