Are you trying to control an electric radiator cooling fan with that switch? If so, you're headed for trouble in several ways. It won't have the proper current carrying capacity, and if you attempt to use the low speed circuit, that resistor wire will get red hot and probably cause a fire under the dash.

I did have the radiator electric fan hooked up to that switch with a relay
Was only using one speed on the switch high
I smashed a fan wire between the fender and grill blew a fuse now the fan quit working,
Been chasing wires .
