Hi folks. I know there's a topic being discussed about moving the steering box to accomodate a v8, but I'd like to find a manual steering box I can mount to my tilt column. Trouble is, to keep my drag link and stock suspension I need a reverse rotation steering box. You know, when you turn right the pitman arm moves toward the firewall. I'd rather keep my manual steering (I like it that way)and all of my newly rebuilt suspension. And I know there's a power steering kit available that mounts the box ahead of the axle.
I know someone out there has HAD to have found a reverse rotation steering box to hook up to their tilt column with a rag joint. I'd searched and found some references to possible toyota or dodge boxes, but nothing definite.
Has anyone done this successfully with a reverse rotation box?
