Tony, I know your 53 rear is wider than the 46. I went with a F#@d 8.8. They come in many widths, are common and cheap. If you have access to a rear out of a 4x4 explorer, you can gain rear discs, trac lok ect. A Chevy Trailblazer rear may give you some of the same benefit in a similar width.
