I will take that hit. But if the number on the frame has a "c" it was delivered as a 2WD. 4WD added later. I think you will find bolted on suspension brackets and other evidence of changes.
If you care to throw some pictures up of the suspension, front axle and transfer case and frame number, I suspect we might be able to derive some history.
