Having done a subframe to an AD truck I would say it is probably not the easiest method to go as there are many details that need to be worked out along the way. If you are set on this path then do not use the 2nd generation Camaro subframe but instead find a rear steer sub from either a first generation camaro/firebird or a 70-74(?) nova. It will make some things easier later on. Check out the pictures on my signature link to see how I have done it. Oh it can be done but there are not many who recommend the 2nd gen subframe for your year truck. They work great in the task force series though.
