Thanks for everyone's input. I think I will mount the booster on the firewall with anew brake pedal from Ecklers. It says it works for 1947-1953, I wonder what is different with the 1954 that it won't fit? I have one of those too. It is part number 61-245607-1 on the ecklers site.
