Hey, nice to see another "1 tonner" from wild rose country !
I own a CDN built, 1952 GMC 9434,its been in the family since new so I know most of it's history, but I did contact Vintage Vehicle Services in Oshawa Ontario, to get the manufacturers history (cost about 50 bucks for their service), only thing they couldn't figure out was the paint code (SP 2012), which they interpreted as being a special order paint code for a fleet order of this type of vehicle. I know its a shade of light blue (original paint still visible on the inner firewall)...BTW if anyone has seen this type of paint code on CDN built GMCs let me know...
Anyways VVS was very helpful....
