Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 30 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 30 | I’ve replaced the brakes on my 61 K10 and I’m fighting the adjustment for the front brakes. The adjustment is pretty fiddly and I’m wondering is there is a trick. I can’t find anything in my shop manual or the supplement.
Each drum has an eccentric bolt with a lock nut for each shoe. The adjustment is not at all precise and I’m having a hard time between no drag at all on the wheel and not being able to turn it. I’m also not sure how to adjust both cams at once. Is there a trick to doing this?
Thanks!
