I have another stupid question. I keep hearing that the intakes and carbs are not the same between the 216 & 235. I believe the ID's of the intake ports are smaller on the 216, but the dimensions center line to centerline seem the same. Also, I have a carb that looks exactly like the one on my 216 in the 40. It fit on the 59 325 intake with no problem. I haven't taken the carb off the 216 in the 40, but it seems to measure the same as the other carbs. What are the differences? What am I missing?
