Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 328 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2003 Posts: 328 | I have never done a v8 swap with the stock suspension, but I will tell you a couple of things that I have read here. You will have clearance issues with the steering and the exhaust. If you use the search feature on this board, you will find numerous discussions addressing this topic. You will have to move the steering box, use ram-horn exhaust manifolds with a passenger-side manifold on the drivers side to help clear the steering, and/or you can shift the motor mounts over to the passenger side to help with the clearance issues.
