I'm sure there's been numerous topics on this subject, so my details will be short: we have a '52 deluxe cab 3600 Chevy with a 216 & floor 4-speed. We'd like to go to a crate motor V8. Tranny is still open between manual or auto. I don't suppose anyone's made a "check-list" to follow? I understand everything will have to go: engine, tranny, torque tube, rear axle, 6-volt system. What am I missing? We've updated the front to disk brakes already, and aren't looking at changing the entire suspension unless it has to.
