Thanks but fall is a bit early to have color on it and have it back among the living. As you know, taking one apart is easy and cheap. The reassembly is the exact opposite.
As to the firewall I opted to not recess it as being 6'7" I figured if I did anything it would be to push it out for more leg room. Forget chopping the top too. It turns out that I have plenty of room in the engine bay. I can pull the distributor without pulling the eng and still have room in the front even using the Long Style water pump.
Right now we are doing a complete assembly to ensure all the parts fit and the systems work. Just added the dual diaphragm booster and master cylinder tonight. Hope to have the rear brake cables in this weekend so I can re-shoe the rear brakes.
Once we get that done it gets it final body work, sandable primer, blocking and then color.
Just trying to get a little done every week.
