I have both a 2100S and a 966S and the brackets appear identical to me. In fact the carbs look pretty much identical. In this earlier thread Jon listed the internal differences.

That list was produced by Carbking and has been widely reproduced in many threads. Unfortunately it is in error regarding the 966S which lists it as an autochoke model. It lists a 967S as manual choke. The 966S is the manual choke model. I tried to sell my 966S carb and the potential buyers used that list to tell me I didn't have a correct carb.
