For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2019 Posts: 25 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2019 Posts: 25 | I'm trying to get my front brake assembly's completely off to get to the king pin set so I can rebuild it all from the axle out. I've removed the hub and drum. Was able to remove the top 2 bolts of the 4 that hold the backing plate on but I can not figure out how to get the two bottom bolts out? Yes, I have removed the cotter pins and taken the nuts off. They will not turn, even when I put an impact on them? Is the steering rod that they go through threaded or after I remove the nuts should they just come on out? Any help is greatly appreciated. | | |
