I have two roughly 20 inch segments of the standard hood to cowl seal at the center of the hood. The seal-strip ends just above the top bumper shown in my picture. Maybe the engineers did away with these bumpers, as there is no reason you could not just use a longer strip of the standard hood to cowl seal.
