| | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,760 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,760 | You can either swap the balancer and water pump from your 216 to the 235, which will solve the belt problem, or change the pulley on your generator to the one with the narrower belt groove. Just be sure all the pulleys match, whichever way you choose to go. I'd suggest using the wide belt components and adapting the center-bolt valve cover to fit the 235 to make the engine bay look closer to original.
