This wouldn't be the first time I've run into fitment issues with my '47 3100 AD. For all I know, the '47.2 dash is unique to this specific year. I decided to start a new thread in this forum, as the
wiring issue was resolved.
I'm trying to install a Delco Remy ignition switch and an ignition bracket. The PO butchered the ignition hole in the dash. IMHO, the cowl vent bracket is directly in the way of the placement of the ignition bracket. Could this be the incorrect bracket for the '47? I've included some picture for your viewing pleasure. The vendors are all selling a bracket for 47-53.
Any suggestions?
