Just curious....What did you replace the Rochester 'B' with ?.....On a previous thread, I thought to have issues with my Rochester 'B' - then after receiving much good advise, to check vacuum, timing, ect, I'm back to the carburetor.......I am very apprehensive to purchase another Rochester 'B' rebuilt, used, even a very expensive NOS....Reading these threads its clear that the Rochester 'B' is problematic and does not have such a good reputation......Now as a temporary solution, I'm thinking to buy one of those Chinese reproduction 'B' for about $70.00.....However this Chinese carb would be temporary till I found a suitable period era carb.....So my question is: What would be a good reliable alternative for the Rochester 'B'?
