Following this thread - it would be a valuable experience if some of us stovebolter’s were able to meet at someones place, and had an impromptu sheet metal welding get together?
It really is an art and science - with some good knowledge sharing and practice the skill can be passed on.
I give a lot of credit to those who are not afraid to jump in and learn.
