Agreed....but I wish the solution was that simple....I found a thicker base gasket in my parts boxes and installed it....I confirmed all holes line up....No difference....My next step is to check vacuum.....There's a port just below the carb on the manifold, which would be the best place to get the reading....Gotta find a fitting to fit the gauge & port....
