Well my project is getting close to street-able. Not done but drivable. It's a 49 GMC 1/2 ton with a SBC with long tube headers and 700r4. I'm 2 years in on the frame off build. I want the final exhaust to be relatively quiet. A bit of a low rumble when accelerating is fine but quiet while cruising in the city or on the highway. Any suggestions would be appreciated . I have a 69 Camaro that has the typical muscle car sound at idle , the lopey rumble and quite a bit louder while accelerating. I don't want that for the truck.
