If the cross member is not causing any problems, leave it alone. If you ever get the bed off, straighten it in place or de-rivet it and whack it straight. Bolt it back on. This is not rocket science, it's bent metal that needs straightened. None of it is major like getting T-boned, or dog tracking.

If you treat it like a stump puller it's going to look like a stump puller. You don't pull on a cross member or a bumper or anything not made to pull.
