Hi All, I am working on a 1933 Maple Leaf 2 ton (Canadian Chev) and a local machine shop has the motor. It was a basket case sitting in a field and it was bad, but the motor serial number matched the VIN tag. The motor is almost done, but they need replacement shells for the crank main bearings. I understand they are babbit bearings but apparently these are what the babbit is poured into? When I checked the Filling Station website they need you to send in the old shells to be rebabbited. I have been looking locally for some replacement shells with no luck, so I thought I would try the forum. Any leads or help would be greatly appreciated! I understand the motor was only used in 1933 and 34 and not common. It has a block casting number of 836915 and it is a 206/7 Master. Thanks!
