I knew a family who rolled an early 70s Ford pickup with an in-cab gas tank. No explosion, but there was a fire that killed their little girl.
I think it depends on the useage. A restoration that gets little use, I wouldn't worry too much.
A daily driver or high performance rig, I'd move it.
