How would you do that calculation? I came up with 2.77 to do 60 MPH @ 2,000 RPM. I’m thinking my calculation may not be correct. If it is, I don’t think that is going to work especially starting up a hill.
Your calculation seems about right. The Camaros with the 6 cyl 250 came with a 2.73 rear axle, same as Ron's Nova mentioned above. First gear in the Camaro was 3.50:1
