| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | As explained if fired at TDC the piston would be a ways down the cylinder before maximum combustion pressure was reached and one needs max pressure at or near TDC to get the most power out of an engine.
