Hey all! I have a 57 Chevy 6400 Forest service truck. I'm picking up a 1995 Chevy 2500 4x4 to do a frame swap. This 1995 has an automatic 700r4 or 4L60. I'm looking into swapping for a NV4500 trans. My question is, will swapping the old auto trans with a manual trans be a straight swap? Such as are they the same length from bell housing to the output shaft of the transfer case? Can I use the same drivelines or would I have to change those too? Will I have to move a cross member?
