Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 20 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 20 | I recently added power steering to my 52 chevy PU using a kit and steering sector from a 76 chevy truck. I decided to keep the stock steering column and cut it a couple inches from the firewall utilizing steering joints to connect to the sector. It works great, but I have discovered that I do not need that big ole stock steering wheel. My question is, is there a smaller dia steering wheel that will fit on the stock column? I have been told that back in the 60's they changed the number of splines on the shaft. So, what smaller wheel will work on my stock column? Any help would be appreciated.
