Well done Chris. One victory at a time. I have had pertronix before and had one failure a couple hundred miles from home with a car full of family on a Sunday about 25 years ago. From that day on, I always carry a spare set of points and condensor as well as some small distributor screws in the glove box with a match book, regardless of whether is it pertronix or standard points that you are using. The match book can either be used for gapping the points or setting light to the vehicle depending of what kind of mood you might be in.
