Dang. Well thanks everyone for the detailed info. I guess my next question is, does anyone know the year range they used these springs? I have a rolling 1950 Chevy 5700 parts chassis and pulled a rear hub thinking I could use those, but the springs were different.
I know of a couple old truck salvage yards along the Front Range in my area and want to make sure I find the correct year model before I start working remotely to retrieve the springs from a salvaged truck. I figured all 2 ton rear brakes were all the same in the Advance Design era, but unfortunately this isn't the case.
