I ordered one of those 8v crossmembers from brothers and planning to use it. Only thing is its made to fit in the frame rails with out boxing plates and it wont fit so its in the middle of the MII crossmember. What are some other ways I can mount a V8?? I could cut out the boxing plates right behind the crossmember and put in the v8 cross member then cut the boxing plates to fit around it and weld them back in. Dose the engine have to be sitting on top of the MII crossmember?? Thanks for the help and ideas. Dan
