| | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 1,700 back yard wrench turner | | back yard wrench turner Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 1,700 | I am using an external gauge on my '38. I bought a universal sender '30 amp' from Chevs of the 40's and then a gauge from Auto Meter also a '30 amp'.
I wired them up and tested before installing into the tank.
They work well.
