12v negative ground conversion. Been working great for years.
Went out to start truck. Turned key. Pushed starter button. Engine started.
Heard strange whirring sound. Shut off key. Starter motor kept whirring away and getting hot.
Disconnected ground from battery. Did not shut off starter motor. Pulled positive battery cable. Starter shut off.
What caused this sudden and new issue? Bad solenoid?? starter grounding somewhere. Electric issues not a strength of mine.
