The engine is a standard 350, overbored .030" with the cam it came with. The paint and crank bearing ends point to a passenger car, but it was placed in a chevy 2 ton at some point in its life. I know Carter was tasked with picking up production when Rochester was insufficient. My understanding is that they are identical in parts, but the stampings changed, that is why I mentioned it.
