Hi, I'm have put an inline 6 250 motor in my 56 Chevy Belair 2D hardtop. I want air conditioning and have installed a Vintage Air compressor bracket on the front of the motor passenger side. It is directly over the hole for the distributor. A standard HEI distributor for a 250 will not fit in that location because there is only 6 3/4" clearance space between the bottom of the bracket and the hole for the distributor. Any suggestions on what type or brand distributor that I can use that will fit in the tight space?
