You're right......I should've bought it !!!

Shoulda , woulda , coulda...........ever hear that tune .

I sure I could've found most of the parts to do a very credible restoration .

The consolation prize was that was that day I bought ( 4 ) nos connecting rods for for my '54

for $28.00 & a tail gate from a '54 that was nearly mint from being an early takeoff for $150.00 .

And a nos wiper motor for $30.00 . Plus a dozen other nos bits & pieces .

So by staying at the swap meet I found some really nice needed old nos stuff .

I still have dreams about that old 1936 . It was love at first sight !

If I ever run into another '36 or '37 Chevy 1/2 ton in that condition , I'm buying it .

That's what I wanted before I bought my 1954 3600 .

Take a look at this 1939 1 & 1/2 ton ..........wowser !
